Site-specific sound and animation installation with piano strings, glass, steel, ash Arduino, motors, custom circuit boards, natural light, and a single-channel animated projection.
The two pieces of the installation piece are installed on the opposite ends of the space, with sound coming together as the viewer enters the installation space. The first part engages the natural light from the window, and the second part is a reflection of the first part on the opposite side of the space with an artificial animated projection. The vibration of the synchronized motor on the piano string holding hand-blown glass with ash inside rolls reverberation and the drone sound throughout the space.
